Our Origin

How Glintock Started

In 2019, our founder—a former CNC lead at a major aerospace tier-one supplier—saw a gap in the Edmonton metalworking market. OEMs and job shops needed tight tolerance work and reliable coating services, but they were juggling multiple vendors, inconsistent quality, and long lead times. Glintock was built to solve that problem: one team, one standard, one responsibility for precision.

Today, we audit and process over 2,800 components annually across surface finishing, hard alloy machining, and industrial coating. Our clients range from hydraulics manufacturers in Calgary to aerospace subcontractors in BC. We've earned ISO 9001 certification and built a reputation on doing one thing exceptionally well: delivering specification-grade metalwork on schedule.

We study your drawings, GD&T callouts, and material requirements before quoting—flagging ambiguities that could affect cost or outcome.

Process Engineering

Custom process plans for every part family. Fixture design, toolpath strategy, coating sequence, and SPC sample rates are set before production begins.

CMM & Profilometry Audit

All critical dimensions verified on calibrated CMM equipment. Surface finish reports include Ra, Rz, and Rmax where applicable.

Certified Delivery

Components ship with full data packages: inspection certs, SPC charts, material certifications, and coating traceability records.
